IT OFFICER

• Must have strong ability to troubleshoot hardware
• Must have Win2000 and XP desktop skills, MCP or MCDST
• A + or equivalent experience
• MCSE and\or MCSA certification preferred
• Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft products, exchange administration and hardware issues
• Working knowledge of backup system software ie: Veritas, ArcServe, NTbackup
• Working knowledge of Anti-Virus system ie: Symantec, McAfee, Norton
• Must understand fiber and cat5 wiring for LAN
• SQL and Oracle skills desirable
• Fidelio and MICROS knowledge advantageous
• Ability to interface with all levels within the organization
• CISCO switching and Wireless LANs
• Ability to be on call and adapt to a 24/7 environment for up to 4 months at a time
• Communications skills both written and oral
• Knowledge of Satellite Systems is advantageous - MTN C-band, Inmarsat A, B, and C
• Knowledge of PABX Billing/Accounting systems is advantageous – MX2000, ProCas
